What Is the agenda of the PG meeting?
Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has today, June 22, exposed the agenda of the PG meeting that is set to happen today.
According to Moses Kuria, the PG Meeting is just another milestone in the destruction of democracy.
“Firstly today is all about the Building Bridges Initiative. In contrast to 2010, we do not have a constitutional moment. Kenyans do not feel it. There is no oomph,” he exposed.
Kuria went ahead and added that the stamina that was resent in 2010 is no longer there since people no longer feel President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga as far as BBI is concerned.
The Gatundu South Mp however clarified that he was not against the constitutional changes. What bothered him was the timing of the whole process since the country is in the middle of fighting a pandemic and the economy has been adversely affected.
Kuria went ahead and noted that the ongoing purge was meant to pas the BBI through in parliament. He also went ahead and predicted some leadership changes that were set to happen.
”Today we will have Amos Kimunya as the new Majority Leader who will move the BBI Bill in the National Assembly. We will have Muturi Kigano as the new Chair of the Justice & Legal Affairs Committee (JLAC) who will scrutinize the BBI Bill at the Committee. And we will have Kanini Kega as the Chair of the Budget & Appropriations Committee that will pass a supplementary budget to divert the Ksh 57 Billion meant for Economic Stimulus and appropriate the same for a sham Referendum,” Kuria added
The Second agenda after the “Dictatorship Express” will be moving to the hallowed corridors of Judiciary.
”The third terminal for ‘Dictatorship Express’ will be at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). The demonization of Chairman Wafula Chebukati and the two remaining commissioners will shortly begin in earnest,” Kuria revealed
The fourth and final agenda would be to ensure that the first three stops for ‘Dictatorship Express’ would be as smooth as possible.
He finished by asking Kenyans to either get some popcorns and enjoy the show as they attended the PG meeting or to get worried for themselves, their children and the future.
