BBI launch at the Bomas of Kenya
H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta arrived at the Bomas of Kenya 11.00 am for the BBI launch. He was well received by his deputy William Ruto.
Others who received the president include interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiang’i, Former prime minister Raila Odinga and SpeakerKenneth Lusaka.
Raila arrived at the venue first followed by deputy president William Ruto at 10.00am
Other leaders in attendance include Machakos governor Alfred Mutua, Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru, Laikipia governor Francis Kimemia and Cabinet secretaries.
There are more than 6,000 Kenyans in attendance and Uhuru is expected to lead them in the launch.
The launching of the Building Bridges Initiative today(BBI) will mark the beginning of a strong political campaign that will shape the referendum and the 2022 presidential elections
Delegates drawn from the 47 counties converge at the Bomas of Kenya to witness the official unveiling of the report by President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM chief Raila Odinga.
